About
Pete Walsh is a Tasmanian photographic artist whose work explores the emotional and spiritual relationships between people, place and the natural world. Working primarily in wilderness and landscape photography, he uses light, form and atmosphere to evoke memory, vulnerability and belonging. His exhibition Ancestral Dreams examined human connection with ancient landscapes, while his broader practice combines fine-art photography with a sustained commitment to nature conservation. Pete has exhibited in Tasmania and contributes to the arts community through the Art Society of Tasmania and Nature Photographers Tasmania.
